Ambassador - Illinois and Massachusetts

MyWay Village, Inc., a Massachusetts based technology and services company, is seeking an entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record of successfully managing multi-site operations.

“Ambassadors” are responsible for providing personal one-on-one and group activity / training sessions with MyWay Village clients.  Ambassadors also assist members with set-up and ongoing social and technical support they need.  Promoting independence and enhancing quality of life through MyWay Village’s premier on-line community for seniors is a significant part of the Ambassador’s role.  This position reports to the Regional Director.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Experience / Desire to work with older adults
• Accessible and reliable transportation
• Strong Internet and computer troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills

 Specialized knowledge and abilities:

• Posses a sensitivity, aptitude and genuine desire to work with older adults
• Understands and is knowledgeable about how to use computers and the internet
• Posses skills to listen and communicate effectively with members, families and community staff
• Posses the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation in English
• Can prioritize and organize work effectively / efficiently
• Must be punctual
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills
• Displays a positive and respectful attitude at all times  

Compensation:

This position averages 10-15 hours per week and the starting pay rate is $13.00 per hour with performance incentives.
